Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Juicy, elegant and balanced, velvety tannins. In the nose with vanilla, cherry and on the palate a fresh acid arc, discreet extra sweetness, mineral spiciness.
Matured in 225 litre barrique barrels. It needs time and air to reveal itself.
Drinking temperature 16-18 degrees in a Bordeaux wine glass.
Suitable and tasty with dishes with porcini mushrooms, tomatoes, aubergines, a strong T-bone steak. Risotto, pasta and pizza. With hard cheese, the taste makes the palate buds open full-bodied.
